Return, Refund, Cancellation & Warranty Policy
At Nyan Devices, we strive to ensure every order is delivered accurately and in excellent condition. Due to the nature of our products and custom batch-based manufacturing, the following policies apply.
Returns & Eligibility
We accept returns only if the package remains completely unopened and in its original condition.
To qualify for a return:
- The product must be unused, unopened, and sealed
- You must contact us first at nyandevices@gmail.com to request return approval
- All returns must receive prior authorization before being shipped back
Opened packages cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for returns or refunds:
- Opened or used devices
- Buyer's remorse
- Devices damaged due to misuse or modification
- Packages refused at delivery
- "Return to Sender" or unclaimed shipments
- Gift cards, downloadable software, single-use items, customized/personalized items, and apparel
Partial Refunds & Restocking Fee
In certain cases, only partial refunds may be granted:
- Items that have been tested, used, or opened
- Any item not in original condition, missing parts, or showing signs of wear
- Returns made more than 30 days after delivery (if exceptions are granted)
A restocking fee of 20% applies for any return where the item is due to buyer's remorse, shows signs of use or wear, or if the original packaging has been opened.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected:
- We will send you an email notifying you of the approval or rejection of your refund
- Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 3–7 business days (depending on your bank)
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for:
- All return shipping fees
- Any carrier surcharges
- Ensuring the product is securely packaged
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service. We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
Refused or Returned Shipments
- Orders that are refused, unclaimed, or returned to sender are not eligible for reimbursement
- Carriers may charge substantial fees ($80–$400) for returned shipments, which may affect your ability to place future orders at our discretion
- Packages opened after delivery cannot be returned
- Buyer's remorse refunds are not offered
Order Cancellations
- Orders can be canceled only if they have not yet entered production or been shipped
- Once a tracking number is provided or the order is marked "shipped," it cannot be canceled
- Refunds for cancellations before shipment are issued minus any non-refundable payment processing fees
International Orders & Import Duties
Nyan Devices hardware ships from Australia. International customers are responsible for:
- All customs fees, import duties, and taxes imposed by their destination country
- Any additional carrier fees related to customs clearance
These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are not included in your order total. We cannot predict or control these fees, and they must be paid by the recipient upon delivery or as required by your country's regulations.
Refusal to pay import duties may result in your package being returned to sender, which is not eligible for refund per our return policy.
Warranty
Nyan Devices products include:
- 7-day DOA (Dead on Arrival) warranty
- 30-day limited defect warranty covering manufacturing defects only
What's Covered
- Devices that arrive damaged or non-functioning (DOA)
- Manufacturing defects causing major functional failures not caused by the customer
Exclusions
- Damage caused by misuse, modification, or improper handling
- Damage from flashing custom firmware
- Water damage
- Devices opened by the user
- Normal wear and tear
- Issues caused by third-party accessories
Warranty claims do not qualify for cash refunds. If approved, a replacement or repair may be issued at our discretion.
To file a claim: Contact us within 7 days for DOA or 30 days for defect claims at nyandevices@gmail.com with your order number, description of the issue, and photos/videos showing the defect.

This Return, Refund & Warranty Policy applies except where local consumer laws provide additional rights. Customers in regions such as the EU, UK, and Australia are entitled to statutory rights required by consumer protection laws, which override any conflicting terms in this policy.
